Air Fryer Cheeseburger Wraps (Printable Version)

Golden wraps filled with seasoned beef, melty cheese, and pickles, crisped to perfection for a quick meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - 450 grams ground beef (80-85% lean)
02 - 2.5 ml salt
03 - 1.25 ml freshly ground black pepper
04 - 1.25 ml garlic powder

→ Wraps and Cheese

05 - 4 large 25 cm flour tortillas
06 - 4 slices American cheese

→ Condiments

07 - 30 grams mayonnaise
08 - 30 grams ketchup
09 - 16 slices dill pickles
10 - 15 grams melted unsalted butter

# Steps:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Break up the beef with a spatula and cook until no pink remains. Drain excess fat and let the beef cool slightly.
02 - Stack tortillas, cover with a damp paper towel, and microwave for 20 seconds to soften and increase flexibility for rolling without tearing.
03 - Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and ketchup evenly over each tortilla. Arrange four pickle slices in a line down the center, place one slice of American cheese over the pickles, then evenly distribute approximately 120 grams of cooked beef on top.
04 - Fold the sides of each tortilla inward, tuck the bottom edge over the filling, and roll tightly like a burrito. Brush the outside of each wrap lightly with melted butter to ensure golden browning.
05 - Preheat the air fryer to 193°C. Place wraps seam-side down in the basket with space between each. Cook for 5 minutes until the outside is crisp and golden. Optionally brush with additional melted butter after cooking.
06 - Allow wraps to rest for 1-2 minutes to let cheese set. Slice in half if desired and serve warm for optimal flavor and texture.

# Notes:

01 - Brushing with butter prior to air frying ensures a crisp, golden crust. To prevent wraps from unrolling, fold sides tightly and place seam-side down in the air fryer.
02 - Microwaving tortillas before assembly improves pliability and reduces tearing.
03 - Leftover wraps can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated in the air fryer to restore crispness.
04 - Ground turkey or chicken can substitute beef for a lighter option; cheddar or pepper jack cheese offers flavorful variations.
