Soft tortillas filled with cinnamon-spiced apples and creamy cheese, toasted to golden perfection and drizzled with glaze.

# Ingredients:

→ Apples and Spices

01 - 240 grams tart crisp apples (e.g., Granny Smith), thinly sliced
02 - 15 milliliters fresh lemon juice
03 - 30 grams brown sugar
04 - 2 grams ground cinnamon

→ Cream Cheese Filling

05 - 113 grams full-fat cream cheese, softened
06 - 25 grams granulated sugar
07 - 2 milliliters pure vanilla extract
08 - 10 grams all-purpose flour

→ Assembly and Cooking

09 - 4 large soft flour tortillas
10 - 30 grams unsalted butter
11 - 30 grams chopped fresh walnuts or pecans (optional)

→ Glaze

12 - 30 grams powdered sugar
13 - 15-30 milliliters whole milk or heavy cream

# Steps:

01 - Combine thinly sliced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon in a bowl. Let rest for 10 minutes to absorb flavors and enhance juiciness.
02 - In a separate bowl, blend softened cream cheese with granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and all-purpose flour until smooth and creamy.
03 - Place one tortilla on a clean surface. Spread an even, thick layer of cream cheese mixture over the tortilla, leaving edges clear. Top the center with marinated apples and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
04 - Tightly roll the tortilla from one end, folding in sides as you go, ensuring the filling stays contained. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
05 - Heat butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place roll-ups seam side down. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until tortillas are crisp and golden brown.
06 - Mix powdered sugar with milk or cream until a smooth, pourable consistency is achieved. Adjust liquid quantity as needed.
07 - Slice roll-ups into bite-sized pieces, arrange on a plate, and drizzle generously with the glaze. Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.

# Notes:

01 - Soften cream cheese to room temperature for a smooth filling and use crisp, tart apples to maintain texture and prevent sogginess. Toast each roll-up seam side down first to seal filling.
