Juicy Cajun-spiced chicken atop creamy, flavorful rice delivers a rich, comforting southern-style dish perfect for any night.

# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - 340 grams boneless skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced

→ Spices and Seasonings

02 - 15 grams Cajun seasoning blend
03 - 5 grams onion powder
04 - 5 grams garlic powder
05 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
06 - 5 grams paprika

→ Fats and Dairy

07 - 15 milliliters olive oil
08 - 30 grams unsalted butter
09 - 120 milliliters heavy whipping cream
10 - 40 grams grated Parmesan cheese

→ Grains

11 - 185 grams cooked jasmine or long-grain rice

# Steps:

01 - Cook rice according to package instructions until tender but slightly firm. Set aside.
02 - If chicken breasts are thick, slice horizontally for even cooking. Season both sides with Cajun seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place chicken pieces in the pan, searing undisturbed for 3–4 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 74°C. Remove chicken and keep warm.
04 - Wipe excess oil from skillet. Melt butter over medium heat, then gradually stir in heavy cream. Add additional Cajun seasoning, paprika, and black pepper. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens; remove most sauce to a bowl, leaving some in skillet.
05 - Add cooked rice to skillet with remaining sauce and stir to coat evenly.
06 - Slice chicken thinly and arrange over sauced rice. Drizzle reserved creamy sauce on top before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 74°C for safe, juicy results.
02 - Toast Cajun seasoning lightly in the pan before adding chicken to intensify flavor.
03 - Adjust Cajun seasoning and paprika amounts to control spice level from mild to extra spicy.
