Crispy Shrimp Alfredo Burrito (Printable Version)

Crunchy bites with juicy shrimp, creamy Alfredo, and melted mozzarella wrapped in fried tortillas.

# Ingredients:

→ Shrimp Filling

01 - 400 grams medium or large peeled and deveined shrimp
02 - 240 milliliters creamy Alfredo sauce
03 - Salt to taste
04 - Freshly ground black pepper to taste
05 - 150 grams shredded mozzarella cheese

→ Burrito Assembly

06 - 4 large flour tortillas

→ Breading and Frying

07 - 2 large eggs, beaten
08 - 100 grams fine dry breadcrumbs
09 - 500 milliliters canola or vegetable oil for frying

# Steps:

01 - Combine shrimp, Alfredo sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Toss thoroughly to coat all pieces evenly.
02 - Lay each tortilla flat, place a generous portion of the shrimp mixture in the center, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the filling. Fold in the sides and roll tightly from the bottom to enclose the filling fully.
03 - Set beaten eggs in one shallow dish and breadcrumbs in another. Dip each wrapped burrito into the egg wash to coat completely, then roll in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure even coverage.
04 - Pour oil into a deep pot to a depth of approximately 5 centimeters and heat over medium heat until it reaches 190°C.
05 - Carefully add a few burritos at a time without crowding. Fry, turning occasionally, for 3 to 4 minutes until all sides are golden brown and crispy.
06 - Remove burritos using tongs and set on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve immediately with extra Alfredo sauce for dipping if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For best texture, allow burritos to cool before refrigerating to prevent sogginess. Reheat in oven or air fryer for maintained crispness.
