# Ingredients:

→ Chips

01 - 225 grams Nacho Cheese Doritos, lightly crushed

→ Meat

02 - 450 grams ground beef (80-85% lean)

→ Sauce

03 - 295 ml whole milk evaporated
04 - Campbell's cream of chicken condensed soup, 305 grams
05 - Campbell's cheddar cheese condensed soup, 284 grams
06 - 100 grams diced mild green chilies
07 - 1 tablespoon taco seasoning blend (optional)

→ Cheese

08 - 90 grams Mexican cheese blend, shredded

→ Toppings

09 - 30 grams green onions, sliced
10 - 60 grams cherry tomatoes, halved
11 - Sour cream as desired
12 - Avocado slices or guacamole as preferred
13 - Salsa for serving

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C and lightly spray a 23x33 cm baking dish with cooking spray.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, breaking it apart until fully browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning if using, and cook for an additional minute.
03 - Add the cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese soup, diced green chilies, and evaporated milk to the beef in the skillet. Stir continuously and cook until mixture becomes bubbly and slightly thickened.
04 - Spread half of the crushed Doritos evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish, leaving some larger chips for texture.
05 - Spoon half of the creamy beef mixture over the layer of Doritos, ensuring an even coverage.
06 - Distribute half of the shredded Mexican cheese blend over the beef layer, spreading cheese to edges.
07 - Add the remaining crushed chips on top, followed by the remaining beef mixture. Finish with the remaining shredded cheese.
08 - Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbling and the top turns golden brown. Avoid overbaking to prevent burning.
09 - Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes to allow setting. Cut into portions and serve hot with desired toppings such as sour cream, salsa, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and green onions.

# Notes:

01 - The dish can be prepared ahead and refrigerated; if chilled, extend baking time by 5 to 10 minutes. Leftovers keep well refrigerated for up to three days or frozen with proper wrapping.
02 - For added crunch, reserve some Doritos to sprinkle on top just before serving.
03 - Substitute ground turkey or plant-based crumbles for a lighter or vegetarian alternative.
04 - Use whole milk with added cheese if evaporated milk is unavailable for a similarly creamy sauce.
