Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger (Printable Version)

Flour tortillas brushed with garlic butter, filled with bacon, cheddar, mozzarella, and chives, baked until golden and melty.

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic Butter

01 - 56 g unsalted butter, melted
02 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1 tsp dried parsley
04 - 1/4 tsp salt
05 - 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper

→ Rollup Fillings

06 - 4 large flour tortillas
07 - 150 g cooked bacon, crumbled
08 - 60 g shredded sharp cheddar cheese
09 - 60 g shredded mozzarella cheese
10 - 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Combine melted butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl; mix thoroughly ensuring no garlic clumps remain.
02 - Place each flour tortilla flat on a work surface; microwave for 10 seconds if they feel stiff to enhance pliability for rolling.
03 - Brush each tortilla evenly with garlic butter mixture, covering edges; sprinkle crumbled bacon over the surface, then layer shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses evenly; optionally scatter chopped fresh chives on top.
04 - Tightly roll each tortilla starting from one end, maintaining firm tension to hold shape; position seam side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet to secure.
05 - Brush tops with remaining garlic butter; bake in preheated oven at 190°C for 12–15 minutes until tortillas are golden and cheese is bubbling.
06 - Allow rollups to rest for a few minutes for cheese to set; slice into bite-sized rounds with a sharp knife and arrange on a platter for serving.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, par-cook bacon ahead to expedite preparation.
02 - Allow rollups to cool slightly before slicing to maintain neat rounds.
03 - Use flour tortillas rather than corn to prevent cracking during rolling.
04 - Reheat in an oven at 175°C for 5 minutes to restore crispiness instead of microwaving.
