Ground Beef Skillet Vegetables (Printable Version)

Tender beef with sweet potatoes and zucchini in a spiced skillet meal, ready in just 30 minutes.

# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - 450 grams lean ground beef

→ Vegetables

02 - 300 grams sweet potato, diced
03 - 200 grams zucchini, sliced
04 - 1 medium onion, diced

→ Oils and Fats

05 - 15 milliliters olive oil

→ Spices and Seasonings

06 - 5 grams paprika
07 - 3 grams ground cumin
08 - 3 grams chili powder
09 - To taste salt
10 - To taste black pepper

→ Garnish

11 - 10 grams fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped

# Steps:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced sweet potatoes and sauté for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently until tender and beginning to brown.
02 - Push sweet potatoes to one side of the skillet. Add ground beef to the empty space, break up with a spatula, and cook for 5 minutes until no pink remains and beef is browned.
03 - Add diced onion and sliced zucchini to the pan. Stir and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until onions are translucent and zucchini is just tender.
04 - Sprinkle paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper over the ingredients. Stir well and cook for 1 to 2 minutes to develop the spices' aroma.
05 - Turn off heat, toss skillet contents to combine evenly. Taste and adjust seasoning. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
