07 - whipped cream (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C to prepare for baking.
02 - In a large bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, sour cream, and grated lime zest until fully blended.
03 - Pour the filling into the prepared graham cracker crust, spreading evenly and placing the pie on a baking sheet to catch spills.
04 - Bake for 5 to 8 minutes, until tiny pinhole bubbles appear on the surface; the filling should be set but not browned.
05 - Cool the pie on a wire rack, then chill in the refrigerator for approximately 1 hour until thoroughly set.
06 - Before serving, adorn with lime slices and whipped cream as desired. Serve chilled for optimal flavor.

# Notes:

01 - For firmer crust texture, pre-bake the graham cracker crust for 10 minutes at 175°C before adding the filling.
02 - Use freshly squeezed key lime juice for superior flavor; bottled juice offers a convenient substitute.
03 - Adjust sweetness by reducing condensed milk and increasing sour cream to balance tanginess according to taste.
04 - Chilling the pie thoroughly before serving ensures proper setting and flavor harmony.
