Mom's Old-Fashioned Beef Veggies (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat

01 - 450 grams cooked beef roast, shredded

→ Vegetables

02 - 300 grams frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, corn, peas, green beans)

→ Liquids

03 - 1.2 liters beef broth
04 - 480 milliliters water
05 - 425 grams canned tomato soup

# Steps:

01 - Add shredded cooked beef, frozen mixed vegetables, beef broth, water, and tomato soup to a large pot or slow cooker.
02 - If using a slow cooker, set to LOW and cook for 6 to 8 hours until beef is tender. If stovetop, simmer on low heat for 1 to 2 hours to meld flavors.
03 - Remove beef from the soup, shred finely, then return it to the pot to combine.
04 - Ladle soup into bowls for immediate serving or allow to cool and transfer to airtight containers for freezing.

01 - Frozen vegetables maintain a desirable texture and simplify preparation.
02 - For a thicker soup, replace water with an additional can of tomato soup.
