Pizza Burger Pie (Printable Version)

A savory fusion of pizza dough, seasoned beef, marinara, and cheese baked until golden and bubbly.

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 portion pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

→ Meat

02 - 500 grams ground beef (or turkey as an alternative)

→ Sauce

03 - 240 milliliters marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

→ Cheese

04 - 120 grams shredded mozzarella cheese (cheddar can be used as substitute)

→ Vegetables

05 - 1 medium onion, chopped
06 - 1 medium bell pepper, diced

→ Seasonings

07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

→ Optional toppings

09 - A handful of pepperoni slices

# Steps:

01 - Set the oven temperature to 190 degrees Celsius and allow it to fully preheat before baking.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef. Add chopped onions and diced bell peppers and cook until softened.
03 - Incorporate marinara sauce and garlic powder into the skillet mixture. Let it simmer gently for 10 minutes.
04 - Roll out pizza dough to fit a pie dish, pressing it gently along the sides to shape the crust.
05 - Pour the meat and vegetable mixture into the dough-lined dish. Evenly distribute shredded mozzarella and optional pepperoni slices on top. Fold the dough edges over the filling as desired.
06 - Place the assembled dish in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
07 - Allow the dish to cool slightly before slicing and serving to ensure flavors settle and to prevent burns.

# Notes:

01 - For best texture, do not skip rolling and resting the dough; rushing this step may result in a tough crust.
