Quick Baked Fish Dinner (Printable Version)

Tender salmon with a crispy garlic and Parmesan crust baked to golden perfection.

# Ingredients:

→ Fish

01 - 4 skin-on salmon fillets, approximately 170 grams each, thawed

→ Butter Mixture

02 - 57 grams unsalted butter, melted
03 - 3 cloves garlic, finely grated

→ Topping

04 - 60 grams panko breadcrumbs
05 - 30 grams freshly grated Parmesan cheese

→ Finishing

06 - 15 grams fresh parsley, chopped
07 - Kosher salt, to taste
08 - Lemon wedges, for serving

# Steps:

01 - Set the oven to 220°C and arrange a large baking dish to accommodate the salmon fillets comfortably.
02 - Combine melted butter with grated garlic and divide the mixture evenly into two separate bowls.
03 - In one bowl of garlic butter, blend panko breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan until the mixture has a wet sand consistency.
04 - Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels, season both sides with kosher salt, then brush each fillet with plain garlic butter from the first bowl.
05 - Press the breadcrumb and cheese mixture generously onto the top of each salmon fillet to ensure adhesion during baking.
06 - Place the prepared fillets into the baking dish and roast for 12 to 16 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 57°C and the topping is golden brown and crisp.
07 - Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the baked fillets and serve immediately with lemon wedges for squeezing.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure salmon fillets are evenly sized for uniform cooking. Use a meat thermometer to achieve ideal medium doneness at 57°C internal temperature.
02 - Patting salmon dry enhances breadcrumb adhesion and promotes a crisp topping.
03 - If topping falls off, simply reapply and press gently before returning to the oven.
