Baked Beef Cheesy Tacos (Printable Version)

Crispy beef tacos baked with cheese and salsa, served hot with fresh toppings for a quick, flavorful meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 450 grams lean ground beef
02 - 28 grams taco seasoning blend
03 - 240 millilitres salsa
04 - 8 15-centimeter corn tortillas
05 - 110 grams shredded sharp cheddar cheese

→ Toppings

06 - Shredded lettuce
07 - Diced tomatoes
08 - Sour cream
09 - Sliced black olives

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook and crumble the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat and return beef to skillet.
03 - Stir in taco seasoning and salsa, mixing thoroughly to combine. Cook for 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
04 - Microwave corn tortillas for 20–30 seconds to soften. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Place approximately 60 millilitres of beef filling on one half of each tortilla. Sprinkle evenly with shredded cheddar. Fold tortillas gently over the filling to form tacos.
06 - Lightly spray the folded tacos with avocado oil spray or cooking oil spray. Bake for 10–12 minutes until tacos are golden and crisp at the edges.
07 - Let tacos cool several minutes. Carefully open each taco and top with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and olives as desired. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to three days.
02 - For freezing, individually wrap tacos and store in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months.
03 - To reheat and retain crispness, bake at 190°C for 10–15 minutes or air fry at 175°C for 5–7 minutes.
04 - Microwave reheating is quicker but may result in softer, less crisp tacos.
