In a separate small bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper. Mince the onion finely.

Add the ground beef, egg mixture, breadcrumb mixture, and minced onion to a large bowl. Gently mix by hand until uniformly combined, taking care not to overwork the mixture.

Transfer the meat mixture onto a rimmed baking dish and form into a loaf approximately 10 cm wide, 20 cm long, and 5 cm tall.

In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and yellow mustard. Spread this glaze evenly over the top and sides of the shaped meatloaf.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
