Tender rotini and savory beef meld with creamy cheese and spices for a warm, filling meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta

01 - 200 grams rotini pasta (durum wheat preferred)

→ Meat

02 - 450 grams ground beef (85% to 90% lean)

→ Vegetables & Aromatics

03 - 1 medium white onion, diced
04 - 3 cloves garlic, minced

→ Condiments & Sauces

05 - 1 tablespoon tomato paste
06 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

→ Liquids

07 - 480 milliliters beef broth (low sodium preferred)
08 - 240 milliliters heavy whipping cream (full fat)

→ Cheese

09 - 100 grams shredded sharp cheddar cheese

→ Spices & Seasonings

10 - 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (with paprika and garlic)
11 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
12 - Salt, to taste
13 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Heat a large pot over medium heat and add ground beef. Break it up with a spoon and cook until fully browned with no pink remaining, about 6 to 8 minutes. Drain excess fat to prevent greasiness.
02 - Add diced white onion, minced garlic, and Cajun seasoning to the browned beef. Reduce heat to medium-low and sauté for 5 minutes until onions are translucent and garlic is fragrant.
03 - Stir in red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste until the mixture has a deeper reddish color and the flavors meld together.
04 - Pour rotini pasta and beef broth into the pot. Stir to combine and ensure all pasta is submerged. Cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 15 to 18 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Pasta should be tender but firm.
05 - Remove the lid, then pour in heavy cream followed by shredded cheddar cheese. Stir gently until the cheese melts fully and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Take time to ensure proper melting and texture.
06 - Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately while warm and creamy.

# Notes:

01 - Brown the beef thoroughly to develop rich flavor and avoid greasy texture.
02 - Shred your own cheddar cheese for the best melting quality.
03 - Stir the pasta occasionally during cooking to prevent sticking and ensure even doneness.
04 - Leftovers reheat well with a splash of broth to restore creaminess.
