Crispy Parmesan Chicken Garlic (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - Chicken breasts, small to medium or large halved
02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Black pepper, to taste
04 - Olive oil, for frying

→ Creamy Garlic Sauce

05 - Garlic, minced
06 - Light or heavy cream
07 - Italian seasoning or dried oregano
08 - Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
09 - Spinach, chopped (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
02 - Reduce heat to medium-low in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the cream, stirring constantly to avoid curdling. Add Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan, stirring until smooth and well combined. Optionally, fold in chopped spinach and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
03 - Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the creamy garlic sauce over it. Simmer for 1 minute to heat through and meld flavors. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

01 - For extra crispiness, coat chicken in a Parmesan and panko breadcrumb mixture before frying.
02 - Ensure the skillet is hot before adding chicken to achieve a proper sear and crispy crust.
03 - Use freshly grated Parmesan for optimal flavor and texture.
04 - Simmer sauce longer for thicker consistency or add more cream for a thinner sauce.
05 - Chicken is cooked when internal temperature reaches 74°C.
