# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 450 g ground beef or turkey
02 - 1 large onion, finely chopped
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 3 medium carrots, diced
05 - 1 bell pepper, diced
06 - 425 g canned kidney beans, drained and rinsed
07 - 425 g canned black beans, drained and rinsed
08 - 425 g canned corn, drained
09 - 790 g canned diced tomatoes with juice
10 - 480 ml beef broth or vegetable broth

→ Seasonings

11 - 1 tablespoon chili powder
12 - 1 teaspoon ground cumin
13 - 1 teaspoon paprika
14 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Optional Garnishes

15 - Shredded cheese
16 - Sour cream
17 - Chopped green onions

# Steps:

01 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or turkey until browned throughout. Drain excess fat to avoid greasiness.
02 - Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until onion turns translucent and fragrant.
03 - Transfer the browned meat and sautéed aromatics to a large slow cooker.
04 - Add diced carrots, bell pepper, kidney beans, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes with juice, and broth to the slow cooker.
05 - Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir thoroughly to evenly distribute all ingredients and seasonings.
06 - Cover and set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours, or to high for 3-4 hours, until vegetables are tender and flavors meld.
07 - Stir the soup, taste, and adjust seasoning if needed. Ladle into bowls and serve hot, topped with optional garnishes if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For a leaner result, use ground turkey and vegetable broth. Soup can be prepared ahead and reheated; flavors improve after resting.
