Place the chicken breasts evenly in the base of the slow cooker.

Sprinkle the garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper over the chicken.

Pour the salsa evenly over the chicken to completely cover it.

Secure the lid and cook on high for 2.5–3 hours, or on low for 5–6 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 74°C.

Using two forks, shred the cooked chicken in the slow cooker and mix well with the salsa.
