In a blender, combine the chopped cucumber, lime juice, sugar or honey, and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.

Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the pulp.

Add the remaining 3 cups of water and stir well.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Serve over ice, garnished with fresh mint leaves and lime slices.
