Eyeball Brownies Halloween Delight (Printable Version)

Rich fudgy brownies layered with white chocolate and candy eyeballs offer a spooky, sweet finish.

# Ingredients:

→ Brownie Base

01 - 1 box standard boxed brownie mix
02 - 2 large fresh eggs
03 - 120 milliliters vegetable oil
04 - 60 milliliters water

→ Toppings

05 - 150 grams white chocolate chips
06 - Candy eyeballs, quantity as desired
07 - Red gel icing, sufficient for decoration

# Steps:

01 - Combine the boxed brownie mix with eggs, vegetable oil, and water as per package instructions. Stir gently until just combined to ensure a fudgy texture.
02 - Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined baking pan, spreading evenly. Bake following the box’s recommended time for your pan. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan for optimal topping adherence.
03 - Place white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in short intervals, stirring frequently until smooth and melted. Evenly pour and spread the melted white chocolate over the cooled brownies using an offset spatula.
04 - While the white chocolate layer is still soft, press candy eyeballs onto the surface in desired patterns. Use red gel icing to draw thin, wavy lines radiating from the eyeballs to simulate bloodshot veins.
05 - Once the chocolate topping has set, use a clean, warm knife to slice the brownies into uniform squares or bars. Serve immediately or store appropriately.

# Notes:

01 - Allow the brownies to cool fully before applying white chocolate to prevent melting and maintain a smooth topping.
02 - Use parchment paper in the baking pan for effortless removal.
03 - Store undecorated brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days; add decorations just before serving for best appearance.
