# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 454 g lean ground turkey (93% lean)
02 - 1 small white onion, diced
03 - 2 teaspoons garlic powder
04 - 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
05 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
06 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
07 - 680 g jarred spaghetti sauce
08 - 60 ml water
09 - 225 g dried spaghetti

→ Optional Garnishes

10 - Freshly grated parmesan cheese
11 - Fresh basil leaves
12 - Fresh parsley

# Steps:

01 - In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground turkey, diced onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spatula, until the turkey is fully cooked and no longer pink. Drain excess liquid if needed, then return the turkey mixture to the skillet.
02 - Pour spaghetti sauce into the cooked turkey mixture. Add 60 ml water by rinsing out the sauce jar and pouring the liquid into the skillet. Stir thoroughly to combine.
03 - Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer gently for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
04 - While the sauce simmers, cook the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain well.
05 - Add the drained spaghetti to the turkey sauce and toss until evenly coated. Serve immediately, topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese and fresh basil or parsley if desired.
