Honey Garlic Salmon Fillets (Printable Version)

Seared salmon fillets glazed in honey garlic sauce, balanced with soy and lemon for a quick flavorful dish.

# Ingredients:

→ Fish

01 - 4 center-cut wild-caught salmon fillets

→ Seasonings

02 - 1 teaspoon salt
03 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
06 - 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
07 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
08 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

→ Sauce

09 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
10 - 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
11 - 30 milliliters soy sauce
12 - 45 milliliters pure honey
13 - Juice of half a lemon (about 15 milliliters)
14 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

# Steps:

01 - Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper. Evenly sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, dried oregano, and smoked paprika. Press seasonings lightly to adhere.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Place fillets skin-side down if applicable, and cook undisturbed for 4 to 5 minutes until undersides are golden and edges crisp. Flip carefully and cook the other side similarly.
03 - Reduce heat to medium and remove excess oil if needed. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, stirring to prevent burning. Stir in soy sauce and honey and simmer gently for 1 minute until slightly thickened. Add lemon juice and mix well.
04 - Return salmon fillets to the pan. Spoon honey garlic glaze over each piece until fully coated and glossy. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately, accompanied by additional sauce if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Dry salmon thoroughly before seasoning to ensure a crispy exterior.
02 - Avoid burning the garlic by stirring constantly during sautéing.
03 - Use freshly squeezed lemon juice to brighten the flavor at the end.
04 - Storage: Keep leftovers refrigerated up to two days; reheat gently to preserve glaze texture.
