Parmesan Crusted Air Fryer Tilapia (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fish

01 - 2 tilapia fillets (approximately 170 g each)

→ Fat

02 - 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil or melted butter

→ Crust Mixture

03 - 33 g grated parmesan cheese
04 - 1 1/4 teaspoons paprika
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
07 - 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Garnish

08 - 1 tablespoon chopped chives

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
02 - In a shallow bowl, thoroughly combine grated parmesan, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
03 - Pat tilapia fillets dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and gently rub to coat both sides evenly.
04 - Press each tilapia fillet into the parmesan mixture, ensuring a generous and even crust on all sides.
05 - Lightly oil the air fryer basket. Place fillets in a single layer, spaced apart to ensure even cooking.
06 - Air fry for 7–9 minutes until the thickest part of the fish flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 62°C. Avoid overcooking.
07 - Carefully lift the tilapia from the basket using a spatula. Garnish with chopped chives and serve immediately, accompanied by fresh lemon, steamed rice, and seasonal vegetables if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal results, avoid cooking the fillets from frozen, as the crust will not adhere as well and cooking time will be extended.
