Strawberry Cheesecake Nachos (Printable Version)

Crunchy cinnamon chips layered with whipped cream cheese and juicy strawberries create a crowd-pleasing sweet snack.

# Ingredients:

→ Chips

01 - 6 flour tortillas
02 - 30 grams melted unsalted butter
03 - 25 grams granulated sugar
04 - 5 grams ground cinnamon

→ Cheesecake Dip

05 - 225 grams full-fat cream cheese, softened
06 - 30 grams powdered sugar
07 - 5 ml pure vanilla extract
08 - 120 ml heavy cream, chilled

→ Strawberry Topping

09 - 250 grams fresh ripe strawberries, diced
10 - 15 grams granulated sugar
11 - 10 ml fresh lemon juice
12 - 15 grams strawberry jam (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Cut tortillas into triangles using a sharp knife. Brush both sides generously with melted butter. Toss chips in a bowl with cinnamon and granulated sugar to coat evenly. Arrange in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and crispy. Let cool on the tray to maintain crispness.
02 - Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract in a large bowl using a hand mixer on medium speed until smooth and fluffy. In a separate chilled bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks. Gently fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture with a spatula to keep the dip light and airy. Avoid overmixing.
03 - Place diced strawberries in a bowl, sprinkle with granulated sugar and lemon juice. Toss to combine and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes until natural juices form. Stir in strawberry jam if desired for extra sweetness and gloss.
04 - Arrange a generous layer of cinnamon sugar chips on a serving platter. Spoon the cheesecake dip centrally or spread loosely over chips. Top with the strawberry mixture, allowing juices to drizzle over the chips. Serve immediately to preserve crispness. Optionally drizzle caramel or additional strawberry sauce.

# Notes:

01 - For maximum chip crispness, bake until deep golden brown and allow to cool completely. Store chips separately from dip and topping in airtight containers.
02 - Chill heavy cream before whipping to achieve best volume.
03 - Cut strawberries just before serving to maintain brightest flavor.
