# Ingredients:

→ Meat and seasonings

01 - 450 g lean ground beef
02 - 1 packet taco seasoning or equivalent homemade blend
03 - 280 g canned diced tomatoes and green chiles, drained

→ Dairy

04 - 115 g freshly shredded cheddar cheese
05 - 120 ml ranch dressing

→ Pastry

06 - 30 store-bought phyllo tart shells

# Steps:

01 - Set oven temperature to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Heat a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
03 - In the skillet with the beef, stir in taco seasoning and drained diced tomatoes with green chiles. Simmer for 5 minutes, then allow the mixture to cool slightly.
04 - In a large bowl, mix the seasoned beef, shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing until evenly incorporated.
05 - Spoon generous portions of the filling into each phyllo tart shell, being careful not to overfill.
06 - Place filled shells on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden and bubbly. For frozen bites, extend baking time to 12 to 13 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Drain cooked beef thoroughly to prevent soggy shells. Grate cheese fresh for best melt and texture. Bites can be assembled in advance and frozen unbaked; bake directly from frozen adding a few extra minutes.
