Garlic Texas Toast topped with roast beef, provolone, and served with savory au jus for hearty meals.

# Ingredients:

→ Bread

01 - 6 slices frozen garlic Texas Toast

→ Sauce

02 - 1 packet au jus gravy mix
03 - 240 ml cold filtered water

→ Meat and Cheese

04 - 300 g thinly sliced deli roast beef
05 - 150 g sliced provolone cheese

→ Garnish

06 - 1 teaspoon dried parsley

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 220°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
02 - Place the frozen garlic Texas Toast slices on the prepared tray and bake for 8 minutes, flipping halfway to ensure even crispness.
03 - In a saucepan, whisk the au jus gravy mix with cold filtered water and simmer over medium heat, stirring until smooth and glossy.
04 - Add the sliced roast beef to the simmering au jus just until heated through to maintain juiciness.
05 - Place half a slice of provolone cheese on each cooked toast, layer warm roast beef over the cheese, then top with remaining provolone slices to cover fully.
06 - Return the assembled toasts to the oven for 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese melts and bubbles; finish with a sprinkle of dried parsley.
07 - Transfer the toasts to plates and serve alongside small bowls of warm au jus for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Warm the roast beef gently in the au jus to avoid drying out the meat.
02 - Cook Texas Toast on the middle rack for crisp edges and a soft center.
03 - Layer cheese beneath and above the roast beef for optimal melt and flavor.
04 - Leftovers can be refrigerated up to two days; reheat toast under the broiler and au jus separately.
