Pecan Coconut Praline Cookies (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 500 g granulated sugar
02 - 120 ml evaporated milk
03 - 120 ml light corn syrup
04 - 115 g unsalted butter

05 - 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

→ Nuts and Coconut

06 - 240–300 g chopped pecans
07 - 250 g grated coconut

# Steps:

01 - Set aside chopped pecans, grated coconut, and vanilla extract for easy access during mixing.
02 - In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, evaporated milk, corn syrup, and butter. Stir continually until butter has melted and sugar is fully dissolved.
03 - Increase heat slightly to bring mixture to a rolling boil. Maintain boil without stirring for exactly 3 minutes to reach proper consistency.
04 - Remove from heat immediately after boiling. Stir in chopped pecans, grated coconut, and vanilla extract. Continue mixing for approximately 4 minutes to evenly combine ingredients.
05 - Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper. Gently press each drop to form cookie shapes as desired.
06 - Let cookies stand at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes until firmly set. Then transfer to serving plate.
