Greek Chicken Mediterranean Burgers (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Patties

01 - 450 grams ground chicken
02 - 35 grams red onion, finely diced
03 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
04 - 35 grams sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped
05 - 30 grams baby spinach, roughly chopped
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
07 - 2 teaspoons dried oregano
08 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
09 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ For Cooking

10 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

→ Optional Toppings

11 - Butter lettuce leaves
12 - Tzatziki sauce
13 - Crumbled feta cheese
14 - Sliced onion
15 - Sliced tomato
16 - Sliced avocado

# Steps:

01 - In a medium bowl, combine ground chicken, red onion, minced garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, baby spinach, fresh dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly with clean hands until well incorporated.
02 - Divide the mixture evenly and shape into 4 large, uniform patties. Set aside.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for approximately 5 minutes per side, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 74°C. Alternatively, grill over medium heat if desired.
04 - Serve patties plain or assemble with butter lettuce, tzatziki, feta, onion, tomato, and avocado as preferred.

# Notes:

01 - Store cooked patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, or freeze cooled patties on a baking tray, then transfer to a freezer-safe container with parchment between patties for up to 3 months.
02 - To prepare in advance, assemble raw patties a day ahead, separating layers with parchment, and refrigerate in an airtight container.
