# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 450 g ground turkey
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 small onion, diced
04 - 3 bell peppers (red, yellow, or green), sliced
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced

→ Seasonings and Sauces

06 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
07 - 1 teaspoon ground cumin
08 - 0.5 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
09 - 0.5 teaspoon salt, or to taste
10 - 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
11 - 60 ml low-sodium chicken broth
12 - 1 tablespoon tomato paste
13 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce or coconut aminos
14 - juice of 0.5 lime (optional)

→ Garnish

15 - fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped

# Steps:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until soft and translucent, approximately 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
02 - Add ground turkey to the skillet. Break up the meat with a wooden spoon and cook, stirring, until no longer pink, about 5 to 6 minutes.
03 - Sprinkle in smoked paprika, ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine. Add sliced bell peppers and mix thoroughly. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, allowing peppers to soften while maintaining some crunch.
04 - Pour in chicken broth, tomato paste, and soy sauce. Stir well and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to blend flavors.
05 - Turn off the heat. Squeeze in lime juice if desired. Garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley and serve immediately, either alone or with preferred accompaniments.

# Notes:

01 - This dish tastes best fresh but is excellent for meal prep and reheats well.
02 - Seasoning levels can be adjusted to accommodate personal preferences.
03 - For a saucier consistency, include tomato sauce or extra chicken broth as desired.
04 - Leftovers are versatile and may be used in tacos, burrito bowls, or as a baked potato filling.
