Vegan Chocolate Mousse Dessert (Printable Version)

Rich, creamy vegan chocolate mousse with tofu and maple syrup—delicious, easy, and naturally sweetened.

# Ingredients:

→ Mousse Base

01 - 450 g silken tofu, drained
02 - 225 g semi-sweet chocolate chips
03 - 60 ml maple syrup
04 - 24 g unsweetened cocoa powder
05 - 5 ml vanilla extract
06 - 0.5 g fine salt

# Steps:

01 - Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each session, until fully melted.
02 - Combine melted chocolate, silken tofu, maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt in a food processor or high-speed blender. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and velvety.
03 - Sample the mousse and adjust the sweetness or cocoa intensity according to preference by adding additional maple syrup or cocoa powder if desired.
04 - Transfer the blended mousse to a serving container. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 2 hours to achieve optimal texture.
05 - Distribute the mousse into individual bowls and serve cold, optionally garnished with coconut whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or fresh berries.

# Notes:

01 - Opt for high-quality semi-sweet chocolate or stevia-sweetened alternatives if preferred, but be aware that flavor may vary depending on the chocolate chosen.
02 - Adjust the level of sweetness and cocoa intensity to suit your palate before chilling.
